I, too, felt that my observations during the build-up to the war as well as post-invasion were just out of sync. People were duped into identifying war with patriotism and were intimidated into voicing NO criticism of the government.

The public was being rushed into a Pavlov Dog response that is frighteningly similar to the German people’s response to the fear mongering of the National Socialist Party of the 1930s.

Hopefully, we are entering a new era of openness and hope.
