I’ve been on a hiatus from posting on UP@NIGHT.  In returning I am pleased to announce that UP@NIGHT will be affiliated with two new YouTube channels.  One will address ideas that have been influential in the history of philosophy and in social theory.  The other channel will be dedicated to off-beat, humorous, imaginative stories for kids of all ages.

What’s the connection between the two?  I come from a long line of storytellers, and I thought it would be fun to engage a new generation in original stories that don’t involve endless animation.  I am planning to present philosophical ideas in a similar way, minimizing the use of animation and graphics.  Both channels will rely on a face-to-face approach, with some visuals here and there.

The channel for children is already up on YouTube.  I expect the other channel to go online shortly and will post a notice on UP@NIGHT when it does.  Hope you enjoy both of them.
